Singer, actress and former Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams visited North Carolina on Saturday to rally supporters in Charlotte and Winston-Salem about voting early for President Barack Obama.
Williams launched an early vote canvass in Charlotte and attended an early vote barbecue and March to the Polls in Winston-Salem.
“From doubling Pell Grants to keeping student loan rates low, President Obama is fighting every day to make sure that this generation has a fair shot at success,” said Williams.
From now through Nov. 3, North Carolinians can vote early at any Early Vote site in their county.
During Early Vote, North Carolinian’s can also register and vote at the same place on the same day, and only need to bring a proof of residence.
