Michelle Williams is one busy lady.

The soulful singer just dropped her latest single, “Say Yes,” from her upcoming album, Journey To Freedom, and enlisted the help of her former group mates.

Beyonce and Kelly Rowland are featured on the song and caused quite the stir when they filmed the video in New Jersey, causing an unexpected fan frenzy.

“It was the most fun,” she said of the shoot. “I love it when we’re all around each other. I’m really excited about the song.”

The Destiny’s Child reunion came about after Kelly And Beyonce heard Michelle’s version of the song and asked her to include them on it.

“Kelly was finishing up X Factor. B was on tour. She literally did it before she had a show that night,” she explains. “She did the vocals immediately. That’s the great thing about technology.”

She’s also busy filming her reality show Fix My Choir, alongside Preachers Of LA star, Deitrick Haddon.

“There’s a way to go about doing reality television. I think I’ll be seen in my best light,” she says. “I love working with people and encouraging them to be their best.”

So far, Michelle says filming with Deitrick has been a breeze.

“We’re having so much fun to the point that the producers have to come out and say, ‘Wrap it up!’ We have a blast,” she says.

“Deitrick is the sergeant. He has a choir of his own. I love what he pulls out of you. I demand perfection but I go about it a different way unless I really have to put my foot down and go hard on somebody.”

She also opened up abut ditching her other reality show My Sisters Keeper, which would have starred the singer and her sisters.

“I didn’t want to put my family in the hot seat because they’re not performers. I didn’t want them to deal with what I deal with,” she says.

“I just wasn’t comfortable so I had to follow that. I think I found a show that I was comfortable doing.”

According to Michelle, reality television is no small task.

“I remember talking to Erica Campbell from Mary Mary about how it was when they decided to do a show and it’s hard work,” she says.

“You’re filming five or six days a week. It takes a week to do one episode. If you have eight episodes, that’s two months.”

Michelle says reality stars don’t always get the credit they deserve.

“I’m not mad at people who are getting paid a million bucks per episode because it’s a lot of work. I’m not mad at the Kardashians or The Real Housewives of Atlanta or none of them. There’s a bunch of cameras following you around and it’s hard.”
